I like the scenes when Wilma would be in the kitchen preparing dinner. To open up a can,she had this bird that she would use.The bird's beak would be used as the can opener lol

My favorite episode featured Madame Yes, who would sashay out of her scenes always claiming, "I'm too important to be captured." Good times, good times... lol

In his first appearance, Dino could talk. blahblah

Wasn't Wilma the first woman to be shown pregnant on prime-time TV?

When I was in my 20s, I had noticed that whenever I was having a rough time (usually some stupid boy making me sad lol ), I always felt better watching The Flintstones on Boomerang or whatever channel it was..

I went to visit my mom one time and was flipping thru my baby book.. and discovered that she had written down that it was my favorite show as a toddler (reruns in the early '70s) and I was like doh! it all makes sense now..... lol

I have the first year on DVD.. need the rest biggrin

I think Lucille Ball..

my aunt told me there was a big baby-naming contest for Pebbles

I looked it up and apparently we were both wrong. It was Mary Kay in Mary Kay and Johnny.

During the early 70s, The Flintstones was in syndication on Ch.5 here in NYC. On weekdays, it was broadcast late afternoon, Sundays at 11:00 & 11:30am. An hour of Fred and Barney - that was the shit!

I loved the teen-age Pebbles & Bamm-Bamm cartoon that was on Saturdays on Ch. 2. Sally Struthers and Jay North provided the voices.

Me either. I could've sworn Lucille was the first one to give birth (well not literally) on TV lol

I liked The Flintstones, but one thing that always bothered me was the presence of a laugh track...in an animated series.

It makes no sense.
