What is your favourite Erotic thriller or Drama?? I'll kick off...
hmm, probably "Damage", or "Vampyros Lesbos"

Still "Bitter Moon" with Emanuelle Seigner and Peter Coyote and Hugh Grant and Kristin Scott-Thomas from Under The Cherry Moon. There are probably other ones that I like much more but Bitter Moon is always the first one that comes to my mind, probably because of its storyline and how it deals with a relationship going sour. It´s not exactly a "thriller" though...rather a drama. A funnier, more lightweight and newer one would be Woody Allen´s "Vicky Cristina Barcelona". It is also not a thriller and maybe not really a drama, but I could watch it on repeat for days and it always puts me in a great mood and makes me sad at the same time because I envy the protagonists in it.

Agree with all of these and will add...
Don't care what people said, I loved this insane movie.
Never seen Meg like this...
One of my all-time faves...
yet this movie was the most disturbing to me...

Great shout with "eyes wide shut, that was an erotically charged film if ever there was one. I lov William Friedkin as a director although i gotta say i was not overly impressed with "Jade" when i bought it.

Crash, for some reason I was kinda weirded out from the reviews...wasn't there some kind of necrophilia element to this with the car crash scenes and all? I just remember something vague about that from some reviews I read and I think it scared me off from seeing the film.

I have seen many horror movies...twisted Japanese films, foreign films that made my stomach churn, but Crash really creeped me out. The cast was so good that I was surprised even moreso. James Spader, Holly Hunter, Rosanna Arquette, Elias Koteas...
Here is a review:
Another erotic thriller that made my skin crawl was Dead Ringers. Both of these are David Cronenberg films.

There was no necrophilia going on in Crash.

I couldn't make it through that movie--someone called it "The Unbearable Lenghness of Film"--it is one of the very few movies I walked out on.
I was pretty young when I saw it, but strangeley I read the book soon afterward and it quickly became one of my favorites.
But with those two actors, I wonder if I would like it today My Legacy

Studios need to be more creative with these DVD covers.

Daniel Day-Lewis is in that movie. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

movies of this genre usually suck (no pun intended) or are extremely overrated; some of my favourites:
-LAST TANGO IN PARIS (flawed, and depressing, but certainly the best erotic drama of all time)
-BELLE DE JOUR : it's a flawed film too, but easily the best erotic comedy/light drama of all time recommended
-EXOTICA
-BODY HEAT
-EYES WIDE SHUT (with hardcore scenes, it could have been the first "good" porn movie of all time )
-THE LAST SEDUCTION -BASIC INSTINCT: not a great movie, but very entertaining in a trashy way -SEA OF LOVE -DRESSED TO KILL By the way, I think that both Emmanuelle and In the Realm of Senses are TERRIBLE films, pure 70s explotation ...

This was probably my favorite erotic thriller. The scenes were incredibly hot, plus the whole murder mystery story was excellent as well. But I liked this Mexican erotic drama as well.
