I don't know if it's true or not for those who subscribe to such thought, but I'm damned glad I don't have to live by such malarkey.

I'm grateful that my wife both sits down and stands as needed. And in turn, I do the same.

Lady A: Dresses appropriately, doens't use vulgar language and demands that her man treat her with respect, thats acting like a lady.

"Lady" B (no pun intended on the B): Dresses like a tramp, uses vulgar language and puts up with it when men treat her bad, thats not acting like a lady.

I can come up with several more examples of acting like a lady and not acting like a lady if you don't follow this first one i listed.

I have no problem with my "lady" using vulgar language. I quite like it, actually. And I'm not sure being with a man who treats her badly makes a woman less of a "lady", either.

And while you're at it, please also come up with a few examples of "acting like a man" or not.

If men on buses would give their seat up for a lady (including senior citizens, expectant mothers) the world would be a more decent place.
