RIP Stephen J. Cannell

Just heard that legendary TV writer and producer Stephen Cannell died September 30 of melanoma. Sad...this guy was behind major TV shows in the '70s and '80s (The Rockford Files, The A-Team, Wiseguy, Hunter, and my favorite, The Greatest American Hero). Rest in peace.

Forgot 21 Jump Street. And of course the flying sheet of paper that would be pulled out of the typewriter at the end of his shows. I love that image.

Cheers for the A Team anyway. I guess if it wasn't for him, me and my pals wouldn't have dived around the woods with fake American accents pretending sticks were guns.

I was wondering wtf that comment meant too, probably some nutjob claiming that Cannell stole an idea from them.

It's not something I'd like to hear someone say about me when I go though!!!

He was certainly a familiar name connected to tv shows. I checked Imdb site and he created the tv show Baretta as well. I remember watching Greatest American Hero and The A-Team faithfully every week. RIP!

I was surprise that he had something to do with the rockford files.

Believe it or not I'm walking on air

I never thought I could feel so . . . . (not gonna google the lyrics - not right now.)

Yeah, that song always made me think that one day I could feel that way . . . .
