this time both of the jurors were rather critical, saying that Dave is not credible as a rocker and "21 guns" was not his song (btw, the candidates can NOT choose the songs they sing!! fucking unreal....)

however, even the "bad cop" from the jury said that Daves musicality and voice simply will take him far in the competition, so he could still afford to have a "bad day"

however, here's another awful iPhone clip just so you can see everything before and after the performance (we get to see Daves mother)

Haha, it's nowhere near as big as those shows. Austria is tiny, and people don't like watching shows like that anymore. Austria has a population of approximately 8 million - out of which 350 000 watched last Friday, which is just about nothing, considering that the channel it is on is the official Austrian television station. It's getting promoted loooots, there are adverts on the radio and on TV all the time, but no one's really interested in the format ..

Thanks for showing so much interest in what I'm doing, I find that really cute!

Today was the first day since I've been here that I had two hours of free time, which I used to get out of here for a while (I have to live with the other candidates), so I called my dad to pick me up and we went to my favourite pub. People recognise me on the streets and I have to sign T-shirts and boobs all the time. I like boobs.

I'm really busy; I have daily vocal lessons, dance lessons, foto shoots, interviews, I have to study my songs and rehearse and record the playbacks in the studio and so on... but I'm getting to know briliant people who know a lot about music and who treat me very well. I also get to know complete assholes who only want to use me. I also get to know jealous people who want to be a part of my life again, now that I'm on TV.

What's most important, though, is that I'm happy and having fun.

So far I've been the "womanizing macho" of the show, but my character is transforming, so that they can now show my sensitive and vulnerable side or something like that. I think my attitude towards all this attention that I'm getting is quite good, because - frankly - I don't give a fuck about anything that's happening here!

Oh, and Nina: Don't believe everything you read on the internet or in the papers (or else I'd already be sleeping with all the female candidates in this apartment)

In fact, the show had twice as many viewers and the ad quota (the only thing that's relevant for live shows, really) was 23%, which is higher than what Starmania had in its first year. There are also papers that claim to know how many people voted for which candidate, which is absolute bullshit, because not even the inventor of the show will know until it's actually over. The media is full of attention-seeking, jealous lies and quotes are being thrown around all the time just to make them fit into a certain picture and to make people talk.
