I'm not really sure, but apparently it's a wishbone C. I found this on a website: "The 'Wishbone C' that we associate with the Bears and the Reds was actually first used at the University of Chicago as their varsity letter."

I would take the steelers logo as being best. My next choice would be the old Buccaneers logo with the pirate and the unis as well. They can keep that red and pewter crap. Don't laugh at my funk

The New England Patriots used to call their logo and teammates... minutemen, they stopped calling themselves that, they just go by "The Pats" or "Patriots" now.
Visa commercial from last season... those of us who live in Boston do get nuts over our team, they used real Bostonians off the street for this one.
