Everything is annoying me today.

My boss sent me a text first thing to see if I would like to work tomorrow. Ummm, NO! Can I do Tuesday then? Nope. Leave me alone. It's Sunday.

Then a text from relative.... can I look after her child from 10.30 - 3.30 on thursday so she can take her friend to lunch. She knows I don't mind helping her out, but ffs - 5 hours for lunch? I have my own things to do! That's just taking the piss.

I found the solution to my inability to get to work at a good hour. When I arrive at work is essentially up to me as long as I make 8 hours a day, so I'm not being terrible worker by showing up late, just makes my personal life harder.

Anyhow, I've resorted to a one-way bet with a friend/co-worker ($20) that I could be in before 5:30 AM.

It's 12:13. Off to a great start, but I'll make it happen.

Edit: Awake, dressed, and headed to work. It's like being $20 richer. Or less poor at least.

I almost burned my apartment down. I was so scared that I didn't even want to salvage my toaster oven and just dumped it already.

Why didn't I follow directions when it says to use 'stainless steel' pot, and used aluminum instead? So dumb... the lye was everywhere.
