Hah, I've done that too when I haven't had anything else at home. It's not bad if you add some oil and spices, although I wouldn't necessarily serve it to a guest. I've used tomato sauce myself, but mostly because I'm lazy. I try to avoid all the creamy stuff due to lactose intolerance.

A portion of ground beef is for tacos tonight. The rest of it I'm mixing & stuffing into cabbage leaves for dinner tomorrow. It tastes better reheated the next day.
