I guess my $14.99 Target grinder doesn't measure up. sad

I'm not a snob woot!, but far from freeze-dried lol

I got one of these, but I'm not too proud to drink instant if necessary!

That's a ton of coffee! I heard that it's best to grind your coffee just before you brew.

That's why i kinda got off of that trip...i was grinding the night before and setting it to brew in the morning....kinda defeating the purpose.

Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

you can set it to grind only as much as you need

I am the same though, I do it the night before. Those extra 8 hours of the coffeee sitting there already ground probably ruins my whole day! Plus I use tap water...oh I have a lot to learn! smile

lol

I use tap water too, at home. However, one good thing about Detroit, is that the water treatment plant is one of the best in the country (they even wanted to bottle it to sell at one point)....

I work in a bldg so old in Downtown Detroit however, that the tap water (because of the pipes) has no redeemable quality....so my firm brings in bottled water for us to drink (and make our coffee with razz )....hey, i might still be a snob...

Yes, since I was a child. I'm not too fussy when it comes to coffee. I usually buy Dunkin' Donuts but I also like to get the flavored kind sold in small packages, the kind you find in little gift shops. My favorite is a flavor called Peanut Butter Crunch. I also like to invite a friend over to share when I make those special types of coffee and then we discuss what we like about it along with other juicy gossip. The coffee just adds a little something extra to the conversation.

While I like the taste and smell of coffee, I must stress that I do not drink decaf. Oh, and Starbucks makes my pee smell funny.

I drink coffee and tea every day.

I usually drink filtered coffee, German style, and I prefer this brand:

[img:$uid]http://www.abload.de/img/tchibo-beste-bohne-bohogrb.jpg[/img:$uid]

It´s Tchibo "Beste Bohne", it´s my favorite "gourmet coffee" for everyday consumption. But sometimes I go and get my coffee from small coffeeshops who make their own brands and blends.

I ALWAYS buy whole beans and grind them right before making coffee in order to get the best possible taste and I make sure to store my coffee in the refrigerator.

I also drink at least two or three cups of this kind of coffee:

[img:$uid]http://www.antalya.de/divers_images/cay.jpg[/img:$uid]

It´s Turkish coffee and I mostly drink it before 6 p.m .

Because it's the best! biggrin Not so hot here right now. Cools off pretty quick on the bay. Was hot like bleh today, though. Hotter tomorrow. mad

Hi Sweet !

You already seem to know about Turkish style coffee so I´ll just answer your question about German style coffee.

German style coffee is actually just a "normal" filter coffee but the blend is usually a bit stronger than most American blends and the caffeine content is a tad higher than in most American coffees.

I´ve had coffee in many different countries and there are definitely different tastes and blends and varying caffeine contents from country to country even when they use the same filter system.

And in some countries, they don´t use a paper filter or no filter at all, in some Latin American countries they prefer a small cotton tissue bag as a filter.

PS: I would love to make a few cups of Turkish coffee for you. I have some of the best and freshest coffees here! wink

Making and drinking Turkish coffee is like meditation, like a ritual to me. Making German coffee is a bit more pragmatic, at least in my opinion. But it can of course also be very much a ritual when you take your time and prepare a "Kaffee und Kuchen" afternoon...that´s a German classic....good old strong, German style coffee and German cake and pastries.

Nope, hardly ever. It makes your cum taste bad.

I drink tea with milk and without sugar, though. Earl Grey, preferably.

I am English so like my tea. A cup of PG tips every morning. As it is often so cold and is cold at the moment if i am out i like a latte. I did use to work at Starbucks and none of the people i worked with were that fond of coffee.
