well as my contract ran out on my two cups and a piece of string phone....i decided to look at what i could get for an update and after looking at all the options and weighing up cost, features and can i make phone calls with it......i decided to plump for the Samsung i9000 Galaxy S ...i decided that there isnt really that much of a difference between that and the iphone 4...in the end ....the cost and the fact that the android 2.2 update is here and the fact a hate feckin itunes...that clinched it for me...hope i have made right decision ?...

I have no idea - I know nowt about this stuff.... BUT I need to. I've heard a few people talk about that phone.

My contract is due to run out next month and I need to know what to get!

Is yours contract or pay as you go?

just got notice my contract is up for renewal. have not decided on a new phone. not really in a hurry as the one i have works just fine.

nothing 'happens' really. you just continue to use your phone until you decide to upgrade. you can still renew contracts without getting a new phone.

it all depends on your OWN contract. there are many types of deals/offers. so it's not the same for everyone necessarily.

well i got a monthly contract....25 pounds a month....600 mins...unlimited texts and unlimited internet ( i know...it doesnt really mean unlimited....think its 3 gig a month )...thats good enough for me....

That's pretty good.

I'm currently paying £35 per month on my current contract. I don't use mine very much either.

I just upgraded to the Samsung Vibrant, which is a part of the same Galaxy S series. I cannot say anything bad about this phone. I had the G1 and my contract expired, so I got this one. It does everyhing I need it to do and then some. I LOVE IT!!
