I'm tellin ya...I hate getting sucked into this but my curiosity got the better of me.

Looking at Blair Underwear didn't hurt either,

I just finished watching the premiere, and it's obvious they're aiming at being the next Lost with a little bit of 24 mixed in.

At the beginning of the episode, a guy anxiously getting on a plane hijacks the plane just after it takes off. He demands to get into the cockpit when an Air Marshal pulls a gun on him and demands he drop his weapon. The guy drops his weapon but a gunshot goes off inside the cockpit area, which has been locked off to outsiders. Meanwhile the hijacker begs the pilot to stop doing what he is planning to do, which we find out later is to crash the plane into a beach compound where the President of the United States is staying and about to make a major announcement. The plane is flying too low and too fast for the President and his family to escape, but just before it crashes a vortex opens up in the sky, and the plane flies into it and suddenly vanishes without a trace.

I'm sorry if I gave away too much info, but then again its only the beginning, as a lot of scenarios happen early on with little to no explanation, and there a ton of flashbacks which set up the crucial scenes, so I guess one will have to stay tuned.

I'm recording it, because nothing cuts into my MFL time. Especially if the 49ers are one of the teams playing. All the Lost comparisons are really annoying me, though. I just think people are saying that because they still want Lost to make sense and be satisfying. At least they have a good example of what NOT to do on this show.

See, I was never able to get into Lost or 24 because I missed too many episodes. I hung with Heroes for a long time but I got pissed with so many loose ends and I'm afraid I'll be pissed again if they don't plan on wrapping up this story the right way.

Yes, I watched the premier, and I'm on the fence. The continuous flashbacks get kind of annoyng, but they tend to set up the next scenes, but at times I thought the network was fuggin up or something with rewinding the tape. It does seem like another "Lost" with the disappearing plane and all. I don't know if I will continue to watch. I thought I'd never get tired of Lost, but I stopped watching it after the first season ended. I got pissed with all the reruns and stuff and losing track of what was going on.

This season's Mad Men lost me, too. I loved the first two seasons, but this one seems rather boring.

I've watched it and my best guess is that it's an alien adventure. I'd compare it to that movie with Julianne Moore in which aliens were kidnapping people and erasing them from their loved one's memories on in the event I think the aliens are testing people to see how much they are willing to sacrifice to save the ones they love. The two central characters in the first episode have something in common - they both love the same girl and are going to great lengths to save her (father and boyfriend).

I will be very dissappointed if this turns out to be some hokey shit about new terrorist weapons.
