I just pulled the plug on my subscription, hell it's not any better than free radio. (IMO) The Jazz stations are a joke.

I have XM/Sirius in my car - have had for about four years. I have a long drive to and from work everyday and our local radio is crap, so it's nice. I'd say I listen to the satellite about half the time and my iPod the other half.
Sweetie has satellite radio in his car, too (he has a job for which he travels a lot). He wouldn't be without it - and listens to way more channels than I do.
The big problem with satellite (for me) is the same problem I have with over-the-air radio - they play the same songs over and over and over. But if you have a wide variety of stuff you like to listen to, you can avoid that. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I have it for Howard Stern. I'm addicted, so I can't imagine not having it. The rest of the channels are okay. It's something I like to have, but I'd say I'm a lukewarm fan of all channels except for Howard's.

Wouldn't know.
I stopped listening to radio 5 years ago, and I'm in no rush for a reconciliation.

I have satellite radio and I like it overall.
For me, the best feature is having no commercials.
I do not like the way the stations are so rigidly grouped.
The hairband station....all hairbands
The slow r&b...all slow r&b
Seems like a given, but I do not listen to any one type of music exclusively and like variety, so while I might like to hear one techno song, I don't want to only hear techno.
A couple of the stations have a variety. They are low on the dial and will play 70's, 80's & 90's songs. Anything in the particular decade, but then, you hear the really cringe-worthy stuff from each of those decades as well, so Stevie Wonder might be followed by The Osmonds etc.
I commute an hour each way, so I'd hate to be without it. What I really need to do is get my iPod in order and just listen to that. I'm firmly planted in denial
