I watched the pilot and I'm mixed. I'll continue watching but I'm not satisfied with it as written.

It doesn't ring as true as it should.

In my experience, the only reason to get Dano and McGarrett to work together is someone imposing the condition on them so they have to work together. I've experienced that several times in the Army and after.

It's not clear why Dano couldn't simply accept another case assignment.

I also think it's trying to be too edgy for its own good but I think they'll settle down on that angle.

I LOVE the original

i thought it was fucking excellent. i wasn't expecting much, certainly not this. it was explosive and action packed all the way through. i can't remember much of the original apart from the theme tune and opening credits

it turned out one of the best new shows

the others being boardwalk empire (brilliant!), the event, and lonestar (although ratings were shitty it was a great show)

undercovers was okay, but we have covert operations and nikita doing a similar thing

there were a few lame ducks like detroit 187, blue bloods and the chase. not crap, but nothing new and exciting really. my generation was okay i suppose. mike and molly was lame, likewise the other comedy i can't remember the name of. outlaw wasn't bad, and shit my dad says is about the only decent new comedy

We were not amused at all very lame also fell asleep on it, NEXT!

He's in it. He's attractive but I feel no attraction

loved the original, kind of 'meh' on the remake. don't think i'll follow it

I watched and have the rest ready to tape. It was so-so. I didn't love it, but the two actors are hot and I love the scenery. I'm going to Hawaii again this Feb so that's mainly why I'm watching. The Hawaiian islands are awesome and I love going there for vacation.

this is stupid but one of the things that disappointed me was that they used the same wave.

why?

Maui features some of the world's biggest waves. there are TONS more exciting waves to use these days.... why not change it up?

I highly recommend that you watch a few of the old episodes either online or via re-runs. It was such a great show.

I caught the pilot for this on Saturday night (local station rerun) and I loved it also. It was brilliant with the story line and characters. I hope it survives.

It's funny...I often think that about him because he's so hot. But I never have actually watched him, and apparently no one else has either, because they just keep giving him TV shows and they all get canceled right away.
