the rest of us couldn't afford that shit anyway....yay for poverty!

the only person I see buying it is Lady Gaga....so 'nuff said about the astroturf skirt.

But she'd have a groundhog glued to it, a golf ball bra, and a mini-golf cart hat. neutral

and Tiger Woods up her crotch! wink

This is cool.

I hope looking 'fat' comes into style.

I'll fit rite in.

Sweet!

I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure
I layed down with love and I woke up with lies
Whats it all worth only the heart can measure
It's not whats in the mirror but what's left inside

Even if you could afford it, why would anyone wear that garbage?

Folks actually get paid serious loot to design that shit. disbelief

The way the economy is anna wintours and her whole homage to herself and her fashion's night out... they are in a panic. They are panicing that the big design houses are going to crumble in upon themselves, and underground artist taking over the fashion scene in a local manner. They are trying to take over self made artist inviting them to an other wise exclusive industry.

Fashion's night out was a joke like the VMA's. Im so sick of Micheal Kors, he is a hack, a bore, a snooze. Now he's really reaching for beyond any element that he could ever claim to be his own.

How nice would that be??

One of the things I want to do when Latin Pop Shop is storefront(s) is to give local young designers a place to sell their garments (among the art and other goodies we'll have). nod

Since being a buyer for our clothing boutique going to stylemax faithfully, styling/dressing clients, producing fashion shows these past couple years, Ive been contemplating putting together my own collection. Its just a matter of finding a good local seamstress. For the shows I end up making or having made designs to compliment what was bought at style max anyhow. The clothes made now are so simple, it cannot be that difficult. No more difficult than what I have been putting together on a whole already.

I know someone who did this. I am not sure she's put the full effort behing it though. Like with most creative endeavors, unless you got tons of $$ to pay other folk to do it for you, you gotta get out there and get seen/make new connections. It's exhausting, but in a way it's also tests how passionate you are about your vision. I've no doubt you could pull something like this off.

Yes. I know. Putting together fashion events with zero money. Trust me I know. I get things such as this pulled off quite well. It is about networking and focusing on one idea.
