Prince Poppycock. Yea or nay?

I don't know how many of you have been watching America's Got Talent this season, buttonight the final four contestants compete for a million dollars and a headlining show at Ceasar's Palace in Las Vegas. Along with a 10 year old opera singer who sounds like she's 35, a bluesy soul singer, and a college troupe from Virginia Tech who do a live stage show in the vein of Blue Man Group. the finals feature a flamoyant stage singer who calls himself Prince Poppycock.

He's been somewhat of a huge surprise this season, singing opera and putting on huge costumes in the most campy way posssible, but he's been surprisingly awesome. Here's a few videos of his talents.

I don;t know if he'll win the big prize tomorrow night, but I'm sure he will get his own stage show in Vegas soon. What do you think? (I'm really waiting for johnart's take on this.)

I think he's fantastic! What a showman and an incredibly talented singer too!! Although the Yankee Doodle performance wasn't my favorite I'm sure he'll go far.

But I'm ALL ABOUT Fighting Gravity for the win. woot!

and Opera Girl is just faint

I don't watch this show, so thanks for posting this.

He's FAAAAAAAAAAB. love

If he doesn't get a show at Caesar's from this then one of the Cirque gods will create one and put him in it. He will headline in Vegas one way or the other. nod

How long has Sharon's face looked like that??

My mom and I were watching Prince Poppycock on "America's Got Talent" last night. I told my mom that Prince Poppycock kinda reminded me of Boy George. But that comment was lost on her, since I don't think she even knows who Boy George is. giggle

RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

So Fighting Gravity is dudes in day-glo getting lifted by dudes in black suits. neutral

I mean, it's cool lookin, but I'd much rather spend $$$ for a Prince Poppycock Vegas show.

Especially VEGAS PRICES lol

Blues dude...talented but...yawn

I don't even have to look at the little girl. Who goes to Vegas to see a child perform? confuse

I'm with John on this one. The Vegas strip is no place for a child, even if she is performing. This child is talented enough that she doesn't need a Vegas show. Seems to me she could do just fine being picked up by some promoter and tour the country amazing audiences with her talent. She doesn't need Vegas and shouldn't be there. Price Poppycock is more suited for a Vegas show as is the gravity act.

Well to be honest, I didnb't expect himn to win it all, but I am surprised and pleased that he made it to the final four. I sure hope he lands a Vegas stage show real soon because he is quite entertaining.

This is why people shouldn't be given a voice on tv.

Just sit your ass down on the couch and we'll tell you who the winner is. biggrin
