They're causing my throat to close, not letting in enough air.

It's often misdiagnosed as severe asthma, since the symptoms mimic asthma so much.

I'm seeing a neurologist for the other symptoms, since VCD doesn't explain the involuntary muscle twitching and burning.

i work in construction defect litigation, we often have clients whose homes are leaky, therefore mold colonies grow under carpets, in walls.

some of the symptoms described in the initial post reminded me of that.

Yeah, I remember her saying it used to be an old chicken house or poultry shelter or something? Get her outta there, KRS! Damn, mold can make you really, really sick. Have you been looking into bringing suit against the company she works for? Are other employees getting sick, too? Call the EPA and have them check out that building!

Do you have extra flexible joints/ double jointed? I was wondering with the Ehlers Danlos previous Diagnosis. I believe it's a connective tissue disorder.

Having worked in the medical profession for several years now, I couldn't agree with you more.

I cannot begin to tell you guys how thrilled I am that ya'll have a true diagnosis and that you have finally found healthcare providers that don't have their heads firmly inserted up their asses!

I'm reading every post with gratitude and a huge smile. I love you guys! I can't tell you what a relief it is to know what the fuck is wrong. And NBJ is right - you have to advocate for yourself, even when they're making you feel like you're just a hysteric. FUCK THAT. If you feel something is wrong, don't let doctors or anyone else shut you up. If I had let them just send me home, I would have continued taking the medications that were making me worse, and I'd have never known there was a weird sideways vulva in my throat.
