Recently an apparition of the Virgin Mary was sighted in Coogee, New South Wales. These types of things are often seen on the western coast of Australia, but traditionally sceptical east coast Sydney-siders are now making their way to Coogee to have a look at the holy apparition.

I think this kind of thing is funny, but cool. What are the chances of a shadow being cast looking so much like that? Pretty low, I think.

Apparently the shadow which forms the illusion is cast last in the afternoon.
