I really didn't like the scene where Bill/Eric bury Russell. I can't put my finger on it, but Bill's dialogue just felt forced. Also, the sillyness of of Bill throwing Eric in the concrete mix and Eric getting out like 5 seconds later, trivialized the previous scene.

Sam did look awfully nice in his boxers and t-shirt.

Anna P.... (??) - who plays Sookie, isn't a very good actor.

Any Boardwalk Empire crossovers? This thread is making me sad.....the last True Blood thread for almost a year.

Yea, and he was cooking pancakes too. You know a lot of people have said that about Anna's acting, but I think it's just the style that Alan Ball wants. Anna won an oscar at an early age. I don't get how she went from oscar to bad actress. I think a lot of actors/actress on True Blood overact.....as much as I like her character, I think Tara is particularly one of those overactors. She studied at Julliard. So I'm guessing that this is what AB is asking for.

I watched Boardwalk Empire last night and it was good, but no True Blood to be sure...not that it's trying to be

AP just annoys me as an actress period, it's not just TB that I find her annoying in. I would not watch a show just because she is in it. She just rubs me the wrong way.

I watched the premier too. They showed it all night....I guess since all previous shows have ended for the season, they had nothing else to show but Boardwalk. I think it's off to a good start....could've been a little more scandalous though.

I was cracking up at the scene where Nucky and his woman are going at it and the butler interrupts them...again. The woman gets PISSED...Nucky picks up the phone and she's yelling, "WE WERE FUCKING!!!"

The look on his face as he goes to answer the phone knowing the person on the other line heard that. Funny!!!
