I just wish he acted like I did when I was little. I was quiet, laid back and content to play on my own. Not him, he needs an adience and someone carrying him around. He is saying a lot of new words, seems bright and catches on to things quickly. He knows that he gets places quicker if he crawls or is carried. Lazy bugger!

I think it's rude when people instantly want to connect children (very young ones in particular) with their parents, especially lookswise. Every child should be considered as a unique individual who does not have to look nor behave like their parents, and it's often quite tasteless to make such comments, especially with babies.

Oh, and he certainly does have a lot of beautiful things to get from you

I agree. I read a book that said to always call them by their names from the moment you meet them. That way they are not just "the baby" and they develop their own personality.

I wasn't a very cute baby so I am glad that he resembles him dad more than me right now.

Dont worry honey, My babies looked nothing like me either! But Now, as adults, I can see they resemble me ALOT more than their dad now! Id like to say they act like him, but they act just like me... But I will NEVER admit that to him!
