Among other things lol

My and 3 of my cousins kicked off our heels and danced our asses off(the younger women in the family are expected to dance for the older women as a form of entertainment, its a tradition). One of my aunties decided to chime in as a way of saying "I'm not an old maid yet, bitches" and gave us a hell of a work trying to keep up.

My back & legs have been kicking my ass all day today because of it.

Its only half a word/verb. Mubarak is the present tense.

Right, purplewisdom? I still got alot of Arabic to learn.

That's awesome. So you have lots of family overseas with you?

Most of my extended Somali family live overseas in Africa(Egypt).

The ones back home are scattered between Minneapolis, Arizona and Philly.

That is so much fun. We had to sing and dance at family functions too. May you be blessed to have the young ones dancing for you someday!

What part of Philly is your family in?
