Favourite: Music, English and P.E.

I was also very interested in Maths, but only in my last couple of years at school.

Least: Chemistry.

My marks could have been better, because I never, ever studied. But I guess I was a good student to my teachers, because I was interested and my mind was ever-present. I wanted to learn, but I hated studying!

I loved History,,,,still do. Even though I was basically taught some distorted bullshit back in high school, but it still made me go back and challenge the sources.

Hated math, and its teachers. Something in the water they drink, its like the same math teacher I ever had,,,,ALL of them were assholes.

Mine was different! A fucking weirdo, yes, but so brilliantly weird and funny - everybody loved him. We had to be really good at maths, because he was working on a very high level with us especially, but he never lost his temper. Everybody simply knew that he is not unfair, but if you don't listen and try to understand you'll simply fail the class.

Brilliant man - after our school leaving exams he went out with us and told us to call him by his first name and drank with us. Still, this mysteriously weird barrier never left! Very awkward...

Favorite - Spelling and English in general.

Not so favorite - Math. I was never bad at it, I just didn't like it. Still haven't found a use for half the shit.

I was a great student, until I turned 16 and suddenlty found myself in 3 subjects with a boy I fell in love with mad from then on every school report said "far too much chatting and far too little concentrating in class" boxed

Silly thing was in 2 of those subjects I had the highest grade in the whole school. In the other subject, well, I was lucky to get a C both years, as me and this boy spent those classes just whispering and giggling to each other all the time redface

Best subject: graphic communication/graphic techniques 97%

Worst: math 57% dunce

I liked the learning aspect... I liked math...

I hated the competition... the testing... I know it's part of the real world.

But that whole aspect diminished the love of learning for me.

I hate the competition in everything, not just school...

I graduated second in my class and received more honors than everyone else in my class.

High school:

I hated science classes: Biology, Chemistry, and especially Physics. Physics was the only class I got a B in - ever.

I loved math, especially Calculus and Geometry, art, and Spanish (even though I wanted to take French, my hs only offered Spanish). I minored in French in college, and considered being a math major but chose Art History instead. lol

Undergrad:

I took Sociology to fulfill some sort of science requirement (as astronomy was notoriously difficult at my university) and thought it was the biggest crock of shit I'd ever heard. It was just making up new names for things that were common sense, imo. I hated that class. I was disappointed by my Intro to Philosophy class, but loved the class I took on Soren Kierkegaard. I was pleasantly surprised by my Poli Sci and Logic classes in college. I loved every single one of my art history classes but hated my studio classes (drawing especially).

I'm really a nerd.

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

I'll just assume you mean high school. My grades were erratic -- alternately stellar and abysmal. I like to imagine it's because I'm a genius. mr.green

My favorite subjects:

Commercial Arts

English

Intro Psych

Values of Life & Death (a sort of sociological survey of how we deal with mortality in U.S. culture(s))

Intro Law

Biology

Social Studies

Latin

Geo Science

Least favorites:

Any math classes

Physics

Chemistry

Phys Ed

Latin (yeah... had a love/hate thing going on here confused )
