We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.

We got a of rain in Houston but no flooding. Not even much ponding, to the traffic reporters' chagrin.

They love to tell us when there's ponding on the roads.

Raining and flooding in the Dallas area. I heard someone died near Killen/Harker Heights.

Yes, so far we have one fatality. An apparent drowning. The schools opened 2 hours late. We are still being hit with rain here in Killeen. I know of several evacuations. One of our 3rd graders in Nolanville was rescued from the roof of his trailer at 3am.
