OK, so here's the deal. I used to date this man who was a special agent for the Treasurey Department. I met him while I was at work. He was investigating one of my residents, and he had to get certain information about her from me. Anyway, we hit it off and started seeing each other. He told me he was single and lived alone; however, two times I visited where he lived, he was sharing space with a room mate. The very last time I visited, he had moved to an efficiency apartment, which seemed strange because this man was at least 55 years old at the time and should have had more substantial living arrangements.

Anyway, my department at work was having a Christmas party and I invited him to be my escort. Well, this man asked me if he could bring a "friend" of his. Now, this is suspect to me because this would have been our first date. When I asked him why he wanted this friend to accompany us he said, "Well, he doesn't get out that much, and instead of having just one handsome man on your arm, you could impress your colleagues with two handsome men escorting you." Now this other guy was a fellow agent who was from the Middle East, and as far as I know, not married but still living with his parents. He looked to be about 30 years old and very handsome. I had met him briefly before when Earl had brought him to my house UNANNOUNCED. (That pissed me off, but that's another story.) Anyway, I told Earl that I did not want to be escorted to the party by two men and that I had invited only him, plus I was entitled to only one guest. Earl had the nerve to get pissed, but agreed not to bring along the friend.

Soooo, we go to the party and things are ok. When we get back to my house, guess who's waiting in his car. Yep, good ole Abdul. I'm like WTF? By this time it's going on 2:00 A.M. and I'm not up to entertaining, so I tell both of them that I'm tired and have to turn in early. I leave them outside and go on in the house. A few minutes later, I looked out the window and saw these two embracing! Not the shoulder-to-shoulder soul hug that the brothers do, but a full on fuckin EMBRACE! I could have sworn I saw Earl kiss that mofo, too!

So, what's the verdict, ya'll?

He probably is, but who cares? I say the only question worth asking is Am I totally over and done with him? (And, if not, how do I get myself totally over and done with him as quickly as possible?)

Thank you for your input, folks. I haven't seen this fool in ages. These incidents happened some time ago. I finally just told him to get lost because I knew I would not tolerate his bullshit. He would pop up every 6 months or so to try and rekindle something. When I'm done, I'm done. No rebounds.
