By now, the budding porn career of Laurence Fishburne’s daughter Montana has been discussed everywhere from “The Wendy Williams Show” to “The View,” with many wondering just what the veteran actor thinks about his 19-year-old’s career path.

“[My dad] is very upset. I heard that he’s mad at me but I haven’t spoken to him yet,” Montana told TMZ.com. “I feel pretty confident that I can work things out with him.”

As previously reported, Montana is set to debut in an adult film for Vivid Entertainment, believing that a sex tape can jump start her career the way it did for Kim Kardashian.

“I think he wants to support me in everything I do, and though he sees this now as a negative, I believe in time he will view it as a positive,” Montana said of her famous father.

She says they’ve always been on good terms and spoke to each other on a weekly basis – until last week. Montana says she never warned Pops about her porn aspirations and plans to have a sit-down with him soon to hash everything out.

The thing is, now that she's 18-19 years old, what can a parent really do to stop her? If they cut her off financially, it could push her further into the hands of the porn peddlers. When I really think about it, outside of beating her ass I really wouldn't know what I'd do if I was in his position

She could have spoken with him BEFORE she made that video. If she wants to be a pornstarlet, fine...but obviously that´s not even her true intention. He could have given her some advice or help.

She's 19 so she's not a "child" anymore. She's a grown woman. As an adult she is now responsible for consequences of her own actions.

This little girl is going to be in for a very rude awakening. She is now in the company of some very seedy people, and will undoubtably have a very seedy following. She faces STDs, drug addiction, abuse of all sorts, and even death. She will go no where career wise except possibly having some trashy reality show. But she will never be respected as a legitimate artist. Keep on following Kim Kadashian while misinterpreting the difference between a leaked sex tape, and a hardcore porn artist who screws random men. I just hope that she stops after doing this one tape. Perhaps she will get some gratification knowing that she emotionally kicked the shyt out of her father. She hates him.

Nothing that Larry can do at this point. Whatever he did, or didn't do as a parent - it's too late to go back now. This is not to say that he is a culprit, but im just saying that there is nothing that he can do about it at this point in time. Little girl has skewed vision of the world, and is living in her own reality.

I don't think her dad will ever view it as positive. If I look at my dad he didn't even like a dude upstairs with my sister when she was 19, let alone all this.

This girl is clearly clueless. If this is her way is getting attention, she's succeeding but not in a positive light.

Mistake #1: She should have told her dad about all of this BEFORE it hit the media. Apparently she doing interviews with the dump pumper and knew it was going to all over the internet, television, radio, etc. and she thinks that eventually he'll see this cockamamie stunt in a positive light...think again sweetheart.

Mistake #2: Who in the hell told this dumb broad that Kim Kardashian has a career?

Mistake #3: Not looking ahead and realizing that the dumb mistakes she's making now are ruining her future chances for anything if she wants to make something of herself. But most importantly, she won't only be ruining herself, but her relationship with her father.

It doesn't matter if she's 19 and of age or whatever, her mistakes will always be a inkblot on her father just because he is famous. As someone said earlier, it sucks to have your kids fuck up period, but when they have famous parents it's worse because the whole world knows about it.
