Yeah.

I didn't love either of the Get Married movies, but I liked the first a lot more. No part of me (intelligence or stereotypes etc) were insulted by this sequel. You (and maybe some other folk, too lazy to go back in the thread ) were going on about Angela acting the fool at the airport and how no one acts like that?? I've known many folk like that. Matter of fact, we should do a field trip to my partner's work (he's in education). He deals with these sort of outbursts on an almost weekly basis. From every race and shade in the rainbow. So no, that sort of "stereotype" is not offensive to me.

I wish folk would stop going into these movies with high expectations (or rather the wrong kind of expectations). It was what it was: contrived, middle of the road, slightly below average brainless entertainment.

Now as far as "For Colored Girls" goes, there I understand the expectations due to the material at hand. The trailer looks like he's stepping his game up to another level, which is nice to see.
