I guess there are some who I did not choose to be friends with, like in-laws or friends of friends, who I became close to and am not attracted to, but probably most female friends are my friends partly because I am attracted to them.

Probably none. Almost every relationship that is not familial in nature has some form of sexual tension or underlying interest by at least 1 person. Denying it is useless. Most people that are of the opposite sex (or sex of interest) get close in an effort to gain intimacy or at least stay close enough not to burn a bridge......in an effort to acquire sex/relationship status.

my closest friends are of the gender

that i dont partake of

i'm fairly close with their wives i suppose

and i wouldnt fuck their wives either

not because they're married to my friends

but because they're beasts
