The Boogie incident is currently under appeal, and seeking to introduce fresh evidence under the pending case of The State vs Boogie, Oogie & Oogie, could result in a mistrial. I respectfully request that we treat these two incidents separately.

here's a clue...it all started when ... music ..i took my baby to the drive in show...she turned the speaker down... big grin
You're going tell us next that she turned on the radio, you'll be seeking to involve some pizza parlour guy, I bet. Before we know it, we'll have some doctor providing evidence, and a recording of some 'bump bump bump'

You just shouldn't go round making these stories up.

Mr Bliss, if you are now admitting that you and your baby are entirely responsible for the 'bump bump bump, then that is good.

As for blaming it on the boogie, Boogie acknowledges that there is an element of joint liability referred to in the final verse (using the 'super trance' effect was not a wise move on Boogie's part) and later in the ad lib and fade of the chorus, but here again, I think you must share some of the responsibility.

It stood accused on three counts originally.

That knowingly and with purposeful intent it did bug person or persons in every kind of disco in the San Francisco area.

That somehow, and in a manner described as nasty, it also managed to drug the victim.

And then finally, after the victim had become infected with the funky fever and internally combusted, it did inflict upon the said appellants something referred to as a super trance.

Well yeah the Boogie was to blame once when I ripped an Antique velvet Chinese Dress. I did my Power dancing and the dress ripped. But in Vegas I'd blame the Long Island Ice-Teas as they were Kick-Ass Strong and they Made me Do Things... Too bad Prince himself couldn't be in the bed with me I certainly would have done alot of Things.

DON'T TELL ME WHO NOT 2 BLAME IT ON!!!

I do blame it on Sunshine... and yes, Moonlight 2!

Good Times, however, did have a reasonable alibi.

U know, temporary lay off - Good Times

or

Good Times
These are the good times,
Leave your cares behind,
These are the good times.

but the Boogie? 2 actually blame it on the boogie? Well,

I'm full of funky fever,
A fire burns inside me,
Boogie's got me in a Super Trance...

Besides,

I just can't
I just can't
I just can't control myself
