gay men: are you superficial?

i just came home from a night out and i find myself still being so superficial about men. I had a wild life for years, but getting all calmed down these last few yaers, still, i can't get over the supertficial way of thinking.

So for all the sluths: how do you deal with getting older?

how do you deal with the fact you're not number 1 any more?

It's really hard for me too see i'm loosing it, and in stead of finding somebody who is my souldmate....show me a great body and i'm gone, although i know i won't make me happy.....thoughts?

Getting old ain't for sissies - regardless of your orientation.

It's not but while I agree completely with that statement, the gay community is, for one reason or another, exeptionally hung up on looks. It's not uncommon to see a "homely" girl or guy with a hetero partner who's kind of hot...not so much among the gays. sigh

robertlove,

All I can advise or say is this: Put on your big boy panties and deal with it, hon. hug

I was never the "ideal" so I don't know what it feels like to be #1 (in those terms). I'm assuming you have a personality and charm to rely on. wink

Oh, good grief - if you can't recognize a light-hearted comment when you see one, you might as well just end it now. rolleyes

As johnart said, pull up your big boy panties and deal with it.
