I'm getting old, my body isn't as good as it used to be so it doesn't happen much anymore pout

But, It depends on who is doing the checking out... and the way they go about it. and the circumstances surrounding it.

For example - there are some guys I know who could tell me my tits looked nice and i'd be flattered. But if it were other guys I know, I would feel ill.

It would be the same for eyeing me up.... it really depends on who it was and what they do.

not really. most men tend to be incapable of subtlety and it's annoying! hmph! it makes you feel skeezy sometimes. sometimes I'm almost glad to be getting older and fatter so as not to get that annoying "hey ma" shit and getting followed by dudes (yes, I said followed!), and sometimes even inappropriately groped. it was definitely not cute, especially when I was 14! disbelief

I might slide my eye over the package but I definitely would never holler at a dude or grope him. and the pervy pedo thing is just wrong. check ID before you check out Ms. Lovely.

Sometimes its annoying, sometimes its flattering... Depends on what Im doing or how im dressed.. But mostly it makes me happy that at my age guys still think im hot.. I was hit on by some college guys the other day! And they were HOT!... I just wanted to laugh and say "dude... I could be your mom! lol

I think if you find a woman attractive you should just nod your head and say 'hello'. Whistles, gestures and gawking are just plain rude.

A few weeks ago I was being harrassed by men working on a job near my work. I have to move my car twice, sometimes three times a day and it's all in the same vicinity. It got to the point where I was uncomfortable walking to my car. Unacceptable! They were honking their horns, laughing, whistling and being down right rude. On the third day I lost my cool, raised both of my middle fingers and told them to go fuck themselves. Shortly after I called their boss to complain.

You will get a lot further just saying hello and being polite.

Bingo.

A glance and a smile don't bother me at all. Hold the door for me, absolutely. I genuinely feel flattered.

But whistle, hoot, leer, stare or anything else of that nature and you're a jerk. And don't you dare look at me like I'm a piece of meat. Gross.

Do you all find different ethnic groups behave the same? From one group to another they all do it differently, but yet the same according to their ethnic group... Maybe its just me, but Ive noticed this... nod

For example,

mexican men, and we are talking men from mexico, not all latin groups, Leer to the point of going out of their way to stare but dont talk to you...

black men will approach and make conversation, they dont care if they get caught looking and will make a point of letting you know they were looking..

white men will look, then look away only to look again.. usually wont approach unless alcohol is involved..

I havent had any interaction with asian men.. hmmm

So does anyone else notice these things??

Like most women have said, it depends on the stiuation and how hard he's checking. If he's being just plain crass, then it's not flattering at all. If he's looking subtlely and makes eye contact and smiles, then it can be flattering. Wolf whistles and catcalls are never acceptable.

Once I honestly was flattered and tickled at the passes of these teenaged boys. I was in my car drving to work. It was a warm spring day so I had my windows open. I pulled up next to this pickup truck stopped at the light. In the back on the truck bed were about 3 teenaged boys. One of them said, "Hey, Ms. pretty lady. Can I ride wit chu?" I said, "Son, I'm old enough to be your mama." He said, "So! I don't need a mama. Already got a mama. I want chu!" I had to laugh and just drive away.

Once. At the fish market. This Asian man followed me around with his camera taking my picture. I think he thought I might have been someone famous or something. He finally asked me for my phone number and I toldl him I wasn't interested. It finally got a bit creepy when he followed me to my car and then got in his car and followed behind mine. I had a girl friend with me so I wasn't afraid. I was able to shake him in traffic.
