Chicago Bear Fans........2010

The Bears will win 5 or 6 games this year, Lovie will say that they are "close" and the Bears will retain him and Angelo 4 one more season of losing. They will then hire the cheapest coach they can find.................and we start this nonsense all over again.

Time 4 new ownership in Chicago.

The Bears problem this year will be on defense. Urlacher is too injury prone and Tommy Harris has been average for 2 years

On offense, how can Mike Martz make average receivers look better? Hester should have stayed on special teams. He s not a starter

The Bears have 4 quality players on the entire roster.

It's already shaping up as a repeat of last season. rolleyes sigh disbelief Jay Cutler is going to be running for his life because the offensive line still sucks. Everyone ragged him last year for throwing the most interceptions in the league, but he also was sacked more than any other quarterback in the NFL last season, so I can see why he felt like he needed to make stuff happen.

But worse yet the defense which was already suspect is now getting decimated. Julius Peppers will get some sacks, but opposing teams will just throw on the Bears defense on 3rd down and beat their crappy Tampa-2 defensive schemes.

Worst than last year. They will finish behind the Lions.

Sinorice Moss is done for the year. Has this cat EVER made a play for the Giants? Why not cut his ass already?

I'm getting nervous about the season. Watching that Ravens game was deja vu all over again - too many players banged-up, holes in the defense, shaky O-line and no short-yardage game.

Johnny Knox and the receiver with the funny name aren't great receivers but

pretty good and don't forget about TE Greg Olson. Yes Hester will never be

a good WR. His high ceiling is as a kick returner.

That would be Devin Aromashadou you're talking about with the funny name. He and Johnny Knox deserve to be the starters, but it looks like they will have to keep Devin Hester in a wide receiver role because Earl Bennett is banged up (and was underperforming anyway) and Juaquin Iglesias, who was a 3rd round pick last year, has basically been a bust. Devin Hester was not meant to be a wide receiver in the first place; he spent his entire football career from Pop Warner to the pros playing defensive back and returning kicks. The Bears made him a wide receiver because they had no one left to fill the shoes of Bernard Berrian once he left for Minnesota.

Actually, it makes sense for the Giants to grab Leinart. Look at our backup QB situation(Carr's gone and Sorgi's done for the year). We've been fortunate Eli's such an iron man. But if he goes down, we're fucked. Leinart would be an upgrade over Rhett Bomar.

Yeah. Never understood why mess with a great thing. I am a HUGE Miami Hurricanes fan (sed to live in Miami during the Jimmy JOhnson years) but Hester is the greatest athlete to come out of the U.

Personally, had he stayed as a KR/PR, he would already have eclipsed all the other special teamers in TDs. As a receiver, he looks awkward. He is a number three/slot receiver. Limit his touches and make him do what he is best at. He was Deion Sanders like as a returner and better too.

As it relates to the offense, Olsen is good too, but Mike Martz offense turns TEs into blockers. Look how he turned VErnon Davis (who is a beast)into average during his time as a Offensive Coordinator in San Fran.

Outlook: 5-11 for 2010

Next Coach: Jon Gruden (who is overrated as hell, but may do something with the pieces in Chi town)

Hott garbage. If u just say "boo" at the line of scrimmage, that guy panicks. It is funny except when he plays on your team.

I've been debating this with Giant fans at other sites. So far, the majority don't want Leinart. Man, this cat fell fast, didn't he?

Speaking of backups, I wasn't impressed with Leftwich or Dixon in that Denver game. Y'all better hope Goodell reduces Big Ben's sentence.

Most definitely. I like Charlie Batch better than Leftwich and Dixon. He is more accurate and

gets rid of the ball quicker than both but Charlie has been snakebitten by injuries. Dixon is

athletic but has Kordellitis locking on to one receiver. Leftwich has a strong arm but that

slow ass wind up will get him killed until the o-line develops.

Big Ben's suspension cut to four games, but Leftwich is out 2-4 weeks with an MCL sprain.
