Charlotte's great in this film. I didn't mind the sad moments, I thought Brenda's monologue was particularly moving. I think I was too taken with the exotic settings (I love the beach) to be depressed.

I actually haven't seen most of Tarantino's films. Didn't see Reservoir Dogs til like 2006.

That's ok. I've never seen standards like Wizard of Oz, Funny Girl or Breakfast at Tiffanys. Just bits and pieces.

After watching it at home I'm sorry I didn't go out and see it when it was in the theaters. It seemed like it was perfect for the big screen.

I'm adding this to my Netflix. We saw the coming attractions on another dvd and couldn't believe that blond was Dakota Fanning.

I saw District 9 last night. It was alright I guess. I didn't know if it was to be taken seriously or not.

it worked on 2 levels for me

I LOVED the humour in it and the reality it had for a sci-fi movie

Because the clips I've seen that mimick the original aren't funny. I don't think all these people, with their stereotypical black personas, add anything to the original story.
