Death At A Funeral...it was funny. lol

I refuse to watch the Chris Rock schlock. They remade it only 3 years after it first came out. There's no way that one is funnier than the original, which I loved.

The little person who played the father's lover played the same role in the original version. Search it out and find it. It's 2007, I believe. Same name. It's SO much funnier.

you guys would be SHOCKED at my lack of movie watching over the last 15 years. boxed

last movie I saw in the theater was How to Train Your Dragon, it was pretty good. Prior to that it was Happy Feet and before that....it might have been Monsters Inc. that was in 2001!!! I might have seen one other in the middle there. And I've only watched a handful on DVDs over the years too.

I'm so ready for a winter full of movie watching. My husband doesn't like watching movies...so we never do shrug

Obviously looking after some wee ones, with movie choices like that, haha cuuute.

Well I never watch TV so I can't tell you the last series I really followed! Does your husband like TV? It might be more practical entertainment as it is in shorter chunks of time.

yep! BUT...my oldest is only 6 so...I have no excuse for prior to that. lol yeah...TV is what we watch. neutral
"not a fan" falloff yeah...ok

Because the clips I've seen that mimick the original aren't funny. I don't think all these people, with their stereotypical black personas, add anything to the original story.

It's on my Netflix anyway. It's got Brenda from Scary Movie. What the hell is she ever in??

I must watch it. hmph!

All I know is, the original sucked. Completely unfunny, to the point that I turned it off and never cared that I didn't finish it (this is rare for me). Neither my husband nor I laughed at all...The remake actually looks funny, so that's a plus.

The Hurt Locker... pretty good until the end which was poor! It should have ended with the cereal boxes. The what followed was too simple and on-the-nose.
