John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness.

I enjoyed both the atmosphere and the totally 80's campiness.

At the cinema- The Ghost writer. Good thriller

At home- I'm halfway through a French film called Heading South. So far, so good.

This just came on tv this weekend. Utterly cheesy and craptastic and we laughed all the way through it. Poor Billy Zane, I do hope his paycheck made it worth having to be apart of this spiel of garbage lol

"The Expendables"... 1/10 Absolute tosh. Aging moviestars comparing cock size. Naffness ensues.

"Piranah 3D"... 7/10 Not bad. Had a few cheesy moments but still not a bad film.

"Wild Target"... 8/10 Pretty good. Bill Nighy and Rupert Grint bring some laughs.

"The Killing Jar"... 9/10 Excellent. Michael Masden tying people 2 chairs a torturing them... YES PLEASE. biggrin

Tonight... "Operation Endgame". Ving Rhames kicking ass. OK, I'll give that it's day in court. smile

I saw Le Donk And Scor-Zay-Zee not long ago. It was mostly improvised and had both the benefits (vivid, real-sounding dialogue, great natural interaction and funny spontaneous moments) and the drawbacks (unfocused, incoherent, uneven) that come with that territory. I'd still recommend it though. Shane Meadows has more talent in his pinkie than most filmmakers have in their whole body.

Last one I watched was Coming To America (Eddie Murphy).

Last one in theatre was Eat Pray Love - made a thread about it too. I need to go see something else.

you guys would be SHOCKED at my lack of movie watching over the last 15 years. boxed

last movie I saw in the theater was How to Train Your Dragon, it was pretty good. Prior to that it was Happy Feet and before that....it might have been Monsters Inc. that was in 2001!!! I might have seen one other in the middle there. And I've only watched a handful on DVDs over the years too.

I'm so ready for a winter full of movie watching. My husband doesn't like watching movies...so we never do shrug

Obviously looking after some wee ones, with movie choices like that, haha cuuute.

Well I never watch TV so I can't tell you the last series I really followed! Does your husband like TV? It might be more practical entertainment as it is in shorter chunks of time.

I liked that one. It definitely has room for a sequel. I was not familiar w/ the graphic novel, but I still liked the movie.
