Liquor store is closed today... which is weird. They never close, those Korean guys never go on holiday.
I have fresh Tamarines too! A tamarind martini would hit the spot right now.

I'm only drinking club soda today.
But I'd love one of these... Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

I'm liking your pomegranate martini maybe a cosmopolitan. I haven't had a fuzzy navel in a while. I like fruity drinks!

I haven't had a fuzzy navel since the mid 80s
I do like a cosmo | |

And I don't usually drink whiskey, but...
I don't know where to get these, though. I discovered these in Austria earlier this summer. Haven't seen them since I've been back to Canada and the States. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place. This can't be so obscure. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

I'm sipping a French Martini, Mach. Yum! It's made with Chambord (raspberry liqueur), and Absolut Citron.

I make this awesome lemon sugar tea that just rocks.
Make 1.5 quarts strong tea. I boil the water, the pour it in my pitcher with five tea bags of regular ice tea, cover it and let it steep for about 20 minutes. Remove bags, add 1 cup sugar, stir until dissolved. Add juice of 4 small, OR 2 large, lemons. Serve cold, and it's fucking delicious.
I was trying to match Arizona Lemon Tea, and I think I exceeded it a bit. I love it.

Cborgman and I just had a bunch of beers...then I had some wine over dinner. Both were great.

Might have to try this seeing as how I've been on an Arizona Lemon Tea kick lately.

It got pretty exact on my measurements. If I fill up my tea kettle, it's about 1.5 quarts, so that's what everything is based on. The tea needs to be strong, but not black, ya know? It has to be strong enough to balance against the amount of lemon juice you're putting on there. I will sometimes let the tea sit for about 30 minutes. I cover the pitcher w/ a lid, and a towel to keep it insulated and warm so it steeps thoroughly. It really takes chilling it down to appreciate the flavors. I wouldn't shake it with ice in a martini shaker to cool it. It waters it down.

Cool, thanks for sharing. Tea has been my new addiction since I gave up coffee, soda, and energy drinks. It'll probably be cheaper and healthier to start preparing it myself.

Was drinking Cosmos with True Blood. Now closing the festivities with a glass of wine.

That's exactly why I started making it. I was drinking the flavored carbonated water at the supermarket. Raspberry, Blackberry, etc. Sweet and fizzy. When I figured out the tea thing, I haven't drank the fizzy water since. And when I did once, it was like blech - gimme my tea!

I've been craving lemonade with mint a lot lately. Sometimes i'd even wake up in the middle of the night, fix me some and then get back to sleep. "what's that book where they're all behind the wardrobe?"
