I love animals, but they are extremely annoying so we need to get rid of them somehow. I would appreciate any advice a lot .

I plan to call some institutions which protect bats and ask them for advice too, but I don't know if they might be only familiar with European bats, so maybe someone here can help me too. I googled but most sites just say that they are protected and that it is against the law in Europe to get rid of them which doesn't help me at all.

Yeah they are living over the second bed, the one we are gonna sleep in . I asked him to sleep there already now so that they might leave but they don't. They fly over the bed all night long and shit on the sheets. They already were waking me up sometimes when we were sleeping in the other bed flying over our heads when I was staying there the last time .

They are in the bedroom. There is no way to make sure that they won't get in again . It's a house in the middle of the tropical rain forest that is built in a way that they have millions of chances to get in .

I know, I shouldn't be surprised since every other animal finds its way into his house from the photos you showed me. And my aunt in Trinidad has bats occasionally fly into her house and she's not even in the jungle like David.

But I need to sleep in that bed that is right under the spot they are living. It is the only place in the whole house where there is no breeze coming in from the open spots besides the windows. The breeze gave me terrible pain in my shouldes all the time, I woke up of pain and could hardly move in the mornings. So I need to sleep protected from that breeze . But I cannot sleep if a number of bats is flying close over my head all the time .

If they sleep above your bed, will the fleas fall off into the bed?

I am pretty sure they are the ones that carry rabies. As far as I know they are vampire bats. It's a house in Trinidad in the tropical rain forest.

That's unusual... most rain forests have fruit bats. The bigger bats are fruit bats, they have big teefuses! They eat persommons, papaya, bananas and mangoes.

Vampire bats are really teeny little suckers. Those are rare, and endangered.

They fuck there all the time, you can watch that .

They just moved there once nobody was sleeping in that bed anymore. When I first was there they were not there and everything was fine. Now the bed is probably covered with all that, he told me they shit on the sheets . That's why he wants to sleep in the other bed again, but I told him that's not possible . When I was there last I had to remove all my luggage from that bed as everything got covered with shit.

I never saw them eat anything so I have no idea what they eat. I took photos of them, but they were shy and the pics turned out shitty, so I don't think you can say what kind of bats they are from the pictures.

They are maybe 5 or 6 cms big I guess.

What are teefuses?

Would a dog whistle scare them off? Scented candles? Lysol spray... they may hate that stuff.

I hope you have fruit bats because they will leave if you build them a new home... if not then they are what I call, disease carrying vermon. They need to die a horrble death.
