Yes, it is normal. I used to cry whenever I came from a haidresser´s. Nowadays, I don´t allow them to do anything with it but just trim the ends.

It's fixed. To get the layers right I had to go shorter, but I knew that when I went back. The front looks pretty much the same, it was the back that needed the real work. And because it's so short now it's really curly, so that's kinda cool.

Basically it's what I wanted just 60% shorter. It will be ok by Christmas, I guess.

Thanks. I straightened it today and it's just terrible.

Looks like we have the same type of hair (texture and curl), so I'll be wearing it like this from now on and will never straighten it again...until it's grown out that is.

My last cut was great, only when I get up in the morning it looks like a fright wig and to get it back to normal I have to wash it, except I don't want to wash it every day, so only on 2 days each week does it look nice

Maybe the shorter hair makes me feel older? Also, my hair was like a security blanket for me. We all know how terribly insecure I am...this makes me feel so vulnerable.

I'll need to wash my hair every morning now too. The only way I can get away with not washing is if I straighten it.
