Yes, it is normal. I used to cry whenever I came from a haidresser´s. Nowadays, I don´t allow them to do anything with it but just trim the ends.

FYI Never get a woman that has jealous tendencies to cut your hair.

If you are prettier than her, she may be a bitch and chop your hair up on purpose because she doesn't want to to look better than her.

As a former hairdresser, I witnessed this over and over again. Get a top dog in the salon or go with a secure stylist that is confident and sharp as hell to do your hair. I kid you not.

Yes! Thats exactly what I was thinking.

It's fixed. To get the layers right I had to go shorter, but I knew that when I went back. The front looks pretty much the same, it was the back that needed the real work. And because it's so short now it's really curly, so that's kinda cool.

Basically it's what I wanted just 60% shorter. It will be ok by Christmas, I guess.

CRY? Absolutely. You're entitled.

SCREAM and turn around and beat the hairdresser to within an inch of his/her life as you shove the curling iron up their arse? Uhm...maybe overreacting.

I remember you mentioning that your hair grows fast so that's great!

Thanks. I straightened it today and it's just terrible. lol

Looks just like this:

But, much like I think Meg's hair was cut, it was cut to wear curly not straight:

Looks like we have the same type of hair (texture and curl), so I'll be wearing it like this from now on and will never straighten it again...until it's grown out that is.

you know what! I LOVE that shorter curly look on you!!!! love

My last cut was great, only when I get up in the morning it looks like a fright wig and to get it back to normal I have to wash it, except I don't want to wash it every day, so only on 2 days each week does it look nice sigh

Maybe the shorter hair makes me feel older? Also, my hair was like a security blanket for me. We all know how terribly insecure I am...this makes me feel so vulnerable.

I'll need to wash my hair every morning now too. The only way I can get away with not washing is if I straighten it.

do you then blow dry it? it would take half a day to dry otherwise, it's so thick!

you'll have to post a pic once with straight hair, I never seen that before!

No, I never blow dry. What I was doing before I got it cut was, wear it curly/wavy then straighten it the next day with a flat iron.
