Some knowledge about music, doesn't have to be the same taste as I have, but at least don't be indifferent to music. I can't impress girls with my knowledge or guitar playing when the only thing they listen to is the I love techno club mix.
Some humor. Or at least laugh with mine.
An opinion about society (politics, peace and war, global warming etc...) again, it doesn't have to be the same as mine, but it's nice to discuss that for a change, instead of having pointless discussions all day a la "in which episode of friends joey did this and that" neutral

I know it when I see it. It seems VERY subjective lol I could go make a list but then someone fitting the bill might not be sexy at ALL to me!!! Seems to be more a case by case thing geek

yeahthat

research proves geek that if you write a long list when you are between partners it's going to be VERY different from the one that you write when you are in love. THAT list is, conveniently, traits of your current boff lol even if those things were turn-offs or something you never considered before, suddenly they become VERY desirable - thank you hormones!!! wave

even YOU wear crocs over there, it's MAD fashionable in T&T

I was going to add:

My theory (not really mine, but I believe in it) proves why I have a "type" but not once have I fallen in love with someone who fits that type.

I only wear them in the house though. I wanted to wear them in the village one time and my current boff stopped me from doing that falloff.

According to Peter David is totally my type, but IMO he only is when it comes to some things, but was not at all when it comes to others. Now that I am with him my preferences have changed which proves your theory giggle.

so basically this thread needs to be titled:

Singles: your idea of sexy

Coupleds: what is sexy about your current boff

I was just thinking some more on this topic as i was on my morning walk.

How do you develop your "type"

and I'm wondering whether your first love - even or ESPECIALLY if it was unrequited, might have some influence hmmm (this guy is the ONLY one that is my theoretical "type" )

The first guy who I fell in love with was totally different from what I expected after the celebrity crushes I had before. I remember I was really surprised that I fell for a pretty average guy giggle. We never were a couple although there was a strong attraction between us and it took me a long time to get him out of my head sigh. None of the men who I fell in love with later resembled him much though.

but in between you being in love, did you have the same "type" as before, or did your first love/crush alter your type for good?

(I bet lots of people never actually fall in love with someone who looks just like their type geek )

That I think hmmm.

I remember I felt totally attracted to a guy not so long after I met David who totally loked like a mixture of him and my first love falloff. Totally crazy. That poor man probably had no idea why I was staring at him so much falloff.

These days I tend to like curvy, big-boobed, dark-haired(or brunette) girls that are preferrably over 170 cm. And if they share my sense of humor and are smart, well that's a BIG plus.

Some of my friends say I always fall for "bitchy" girls that prefer "bad-boys" over me, but I'm not so sure. lol

Yes, preferably she should be totally lobotimized, have reeking BO and be a sociopath too. That's exactly what I was trying to say.

Here's the Swedish title of a French movie. It means "Hidden Threat", lol

But no, you're right, I don't feel the hidden threat of suddenly being attracted to a dolt. smile

Physically, something like this would definitely do the trick...

[img:$uid]http://img178.i.../img:$uid]

Despite what the picture above may suggest, women who are somewhat coy and demure turn me on. And if she so happens to look like a video vixen, it's all the more intoxicating. There's something about a woman who's shy and a little unsure of herself that drives me wild! I guess it taps into that anamalistic need that men have to feel like a hunter? Or perhaps I just read too many story books growing up with damsels in distress???

yeahthat

Exactly. Though I like confidence sometimes, there's sumthing about shy girls... Take me back to the days of college when U were both too shy to make the first move, xcept now I've gained confidence and I really have a thing for shy cuties... Nothing turns me off more than those many loud, exhuberant, outrageous and unclassy hoodrats around...

Everybody is somebody, but nobody wants to be themselves.
