I hadn't seen it for years and last night I couldnt sleep and switched the TV on and there it was....The Young Ones. Absolutely loved this programme in the 80's and remember it's what everyone talked about in the playground.

I had (and haven't) any idea of who Felicity Kendal is, but " la-ti-dah, Ive got a pair of Felicity Kendal underpants, and they could use a good scrubbin" still makes me burst out laughing. That, and "piss off postie!"
good times...good times.
This show totally hipped me to a bit of Brittish slang and pop culture. Who knew that a 'vacation' was a 'holiday'. Or that a degree is an "o level"?
