Yes. I have never dated older than me. My age or younger. I am seeing younger (3 & 4 years younger) now. My son's father is 7 years younger than me.

I always liked younger guys because they have a take it or leave it attitude, they're not trying to impress chicks like older men tend to do. And most are animals in the sack.

But....there is always a but....they can also drive you nuts with their immaturity and general lack of relationship experience and all that comes with that.

My ex was 2 1/2 years younger than I am, my boyfriend is 8 1/2 years younger than I am, so I guess yes I do lol. With my ex it was never an issue. It would not be an issue with most other men either for me I guess, but it might become one with my bf one day as his body is pretty much 100 % perfect IMO while mine is not and while I never bothered much about it before I might not feel as secure about myself as I used to sigh.

lol There's bound to be issues. But I love that passionate energy! Afraid he'd get tired of me though. And I'd kind of be in a teacher role sometimes, which doesn't really appeal to me.

lol

lol Yeah I need passionate energy for that relationship and all the problems we are facing and I am not talking about the age difference there lol. I guess if the teacher role doesn't appeal to you (and it doesn't to me either) then you will not feel like that much. And everybody can get tired of you no matter what age, if it works it will work despite the age difference.

Yes my boyfriend is 4 years younger than me...and the only guy that I've dated that possesses most of the qualities that I want in a man. He's a lot of fun and loves to do different things and experience different things. He's the only man that has treated me with love and respect and not to boost his own ego (like older men do and come off looking either possessive or childlike). The flip side though is that he can be a bit immature at times, but no one's perfect. I'd take his "immature at times" over an older guy's "100% asshole" attitude any day.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I would have a problem with a big age difference. That's why when people tell me that I could wait a long time to have kids just because I'm a man I respond "not really", since I nearly always (the few times it happens) fall for women my own age which in turn puts us in the same boat.

When the age difference is more than ten years you're really at different stages of your lives and have different reference points. It would be something you'd constantly be struggling with, and it wouldn't be fun for the younger one when the older one gets too old for a whole bunch of things.

Currently I'm dating someone three years younger.

Really that's no difference at all.

I have. It worked out OK for the most part. At least, age wasn't an issue.

I'd be sceptical of doing it again at this stage, though. But if two people want the same things there's no reason it shouldn't work out.

Still - I can't imagine dating someone who's, say, 25. Or even younger than that. I imagine there's be too much of a gap in what we want and compatability and such. I suppose I'd be open to it, but it would take a lot more convincing.

It's nice to know I don't have to worry about that at the moment, though. smile

I have not, but I wouldn't be opposed to a younger guy as long as he was not really immature. Though at this point I'd say "no" to a guy more than 5 years my junior though

If you will, so will I

Guys who are still playing dating games (i.e. must wait x # of days to call), guys who don’t do what they say they’re going to (i.e. call/email when they say they will, etc.), guys who either don’t know what they want out of a relationship or can’t/won’t articulate it, guys who will say things they don’t mean ‘cause they think it will get you into bed…

I could go on and on and on. lol

The youngest I've dated is 7 years my junior. It's been okay in the boudoir/arm candy/ aren't we cute department. But except for a younger Japanese boyfriend I had once, there was too much time to be spent explaining the ins and outs of life that they had not yet experienced. My fiance now is a few years older than me and I like the fit; he's been around the block enough in all aspects of his life (spiritually, artistically, physically, academically, psychologically, and financially) that nothing comes as a surprise to him...and at his age and life experience he is equipped to be a man of action, purpose, and resolve in all things. Despite the thrills and energy jolts I've gotten from younger partners, those qualities I mentioned are what I've found lacking for my personal preference coffee

I was wondering the other day how your romance was coming along. It sounds perfect. Now if I could just find that prince charming. I agree. The ideal age would be similar to mine. I'd really like to find something that just feels like the right fit, not some kind of stretch and struggle. I've had enough of those.

When I was 40, I dated someone who was 22.

I didn't realize HOW young he was at first (I thought he was at least 30).

The difference was just too much. He was born the year I graduated high school.

I was only 6 years younger than his mom, and we couldn't relate culturally- music, pop references, etc.

And in other areas... it was fun for a while, but... redface

I'd date someone slightly younger now, but I'm done playing "Cougar". talk to the hand

On the other hand, I just can't believe why would a 20-27 years old fella date a +30 years old woman...

just because of the huge differences in every aspect...

Ain't nuthin' wrong with that. I find older women who look good and keep their bodies together incredibly sexy.

The majority of men that I've dated have been 1- 5 years older than me. My sweetie is the only one that has been younger than me, but he's only a year and a half younger.

I'm not sure why, but a lot of guys prefer older chicks, less bullshit I guess.

Meow!

I usually attract younger guys, but I think a part of it is I look young too. I haven't really been around too many older men, but also haven't really noticed a difference in maturity level based on age alone.

Well from the men that I've talked to, they say that older women know what they want and are less likely to play mind games with them. They said that women their age or younger play just as many games as men do and for the men who don't play games, find that to be a turn off. Apparently, some men feel that it's hard to find a good woman out here just as women say that it's hard to find a good man.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
