This has only happened to me once, where I have been devasted over a relationship that was disolved.

I would never rub anything in the face of another, so I can't answer that part.

Never had that problem.
But I'd act mature about it. No reason to hurt anyone. That won't improve anything.

I usually fold up my new life, tell all my new friends to blow me, and take the old flame back...out of love. Is there any other way?

Been there...not fun, but part of the growing

I'm sorry let me clarify for those who think i am a monster.
This person only showed interest in me AFTER i got my life back together. Meaning they won't be there if i get down and out. I laughed because they must think i'm a fool to let them pull the same stunt again.

give him a 'get out of jail free card' and take him back, if i felt like that about him

i found myself a bit confused, because
