School Uniforms!!! I went to an All Girls' Convent School -  - and look how I turned out!!! and the uniform wasn't the sexiest of all!!!
I had to wear a navy A-line skirt yuck!  real frumpy! which had to be just above the knee and we wore navy knee high socks which could not go over the knee, we had to have our knees showing for some religious kinky reason...white socks in summer. 
Navy or Black flat shoes no heels! 
Blue Shirt Maroon Tie Navy V-neck jumper Duffel Coat in the winter  with a stripey wool scarf - Maroon, yellow and navy
Navy Blazer in the summer with short sleeved pale blue checked blouse and...  ! ...a beret! I looked a complete ponce and hated it! 
We used to take our skirts in so they were skin tight and rolled them up at the top so they were short, we either rolled our socks down to show our legs or wore real high over the knee socks which were cool back then. Top button open on shirts with a really fat short tie or at another time the skinniest, tightest tie you could make with the fatter part tucked into your shirt. Duffel coats hanging open and slouchy looking The scarves were pretty cool,  a number of girls would spray it with Mens After Shave and/or Cologne or Hippy Juice
Our hair was sprayed to death with hairspray so it was rock hard and could have lasted over a week if we never washed it. Bright fluorescent plastic button earrings and bracelets, loads of lip gloss - no make up was allowed...later the nuns banned makeup jewellery and hairspray, they said it was evil and we were hussies and it was the devils work! The berets were the worst. As soon as someone had a new one you had to 'christen' it for them which was pulling the top bit off, and if you were unfortunate the felt tore leaving a big hole in the centre and it was ruined, but the boys on the bus on the way home had a great day pulling off peoples berets and flinging them around the bus while some unfortuante was teased and embarrassed they probably still have nightmares today..
Briefly, what was your uniform like? How many of you wore uniforms for school and hated them? Did you comply to the regulations or did you 'customise' your uniform? We don't have school uniforms at our high school, or any of the 4 elementary schools. However, the middle school got a dress code last year, my sophomore year. I barely escaped having to wear that shit.
Well, it's not exactly a uniform. It's just a very strict dress code. Students can only wear red, blue, or white shirts. No logos on them, or decorations..etc. Silly, really. I think wearing uniforms and having dress codes like that is rather asinine. -------

We are the Colston girls We wear our hair in curls We wear our dungarees above our knees We wear our daddy’s shirts and our brother’s ties And when we want a guy we wink our eye H e gave me 50 pence 2 go behind the fence He gave me £1.00 2 pull our knickers down He counted 1 to 10 and shoved something into me then He counted 1 to 10 then pulled it out again. We never got to finish the rest off the song, the minister and teachers herded us out pretty quickly as all the rest off the school where clapping like mad, we where all made to go into the hall and get dealt with by the head master. I still have my school uniform and i still fit perfect into it the last time i tried, still the same size i was then. Sad now they school is no longer around. Funny memory and i cant believe i told you this, ok i was a kid so i can be forgiving…………..i think!!

[This message was edited Mon Jan 27 9:15:58 PST 2003 by katt] shucks katt how come when we play that game i have to use a £10 note not a 50 pence Our school uniform was dark brown trousers and jumpers light brown shirt and gold ties which basically when you think about it is poo color and pee color unfortunateley other local schools DID cotton on to this wonderous color connection !!! and let us know loudly funnily enough the uniform wasnt too popular the big customizing for the boys was to see how big we could make the knot in our ties dont ask me why but you know how us boys like to play with our ties !!! | |

Once I had Chemistry and it was the lsst double lesson on a Wednesday, well I was fooling about - like I always did - and spilled ACID all over my skirt, the teacher whipped off my skirt real quick infront of all my classmates  I was so embarrased then, I was about 15, but as nobody had a spare skirt for me to wear then, the teacher made me a skirt out of tin foil! Everyone was pissing themselves laughing and I had to go home on the bus and walk across town wearing that! | |

I kinda wish I'd gone 2 an all boys school...no, im not coming out of the closet or anything, but if I had gone 2 an all boys school I wouldnt have been able 2 stare at the girls thus actually getting some work done and I wouldnt be such a doofuss now.
