I'm a purist. Butter and salt, baby. That's it.

Yup. And once I pick the cob up, I don't put it back down until every kernel is gone.

Okay, so here's another question. Do you eat around the cob? Or do you eat it typewriter style?

I'm a typewriter girl, myself.

Either way. I tend to go around the cob more often, though.

Typewriter. And I only cut off the kernels if I have enough left over to make something else with it.

Is this a euphamism? Is euphamisism the only word which starts with a vowel which you don't prefix with 'an'?

Something new I have been trying recently (seen it on TV) is basil butter with corn on the cob. My family has been loving and killin it! When I am grillin, I put the cob in tin foil, with butter (or substitute) with chopped fresh basil and heat until ready. Or if I boil on the stove, I just make the butter and basil combo and slather it on right before serving. The kids and hubby love it!!

Corn on the cob is really inexpensive right now in my area (Santa Barbara) you can get 5 for a dollar! I love mine on the BBQ, wrapped in tin foil, sprinkiled with olive oil, salt and pepper!

I also love it mexican style, with mayonaise and chili powder. mexican
