You can do just about everything with this phone. It comes with Avatar and you can download ur own movies via blutooth or regular file transfer. The display is bright and colorful, and really makes my old G1's display look like a cloudy day in my bathroom. I got it for $199.00, $218 with tax, plus a $50 rebate. I cannot say enough about the phone. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

With any cellphone, one should keep it on the charger, when not in use. Contrary to belief, this does not hurt the battery. Also, see if you have wifi, turned on. If you do, then turn it off. This drains the battery as well. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

HTC Desire. It's fantastic. Looks awesome and a great clear screen.
Don't feel pressured into getting an IPhone by all those Apple sheep out there. Advertising and Media has a way of brainwashing us and making us feel we need it for some reason. Don't forget with the new Apple 4, there has been that problem with reception.
Essentially, the most important question is - what do you need it for? Best to look into them before you spend all that money. I found if you want something specifically...
Texting - go with a Blackberry. Apps - IPhone. Photos - Sony Xperia. Music - Nokia or Sony. Screen - HTC.
I chose the HTC Desire because it's pretty hot on all of the above. It's gorgeous looking (not as clunky as the EVO) and runs on Android with a great engine. It's also got organisational skills matching the Blackberry. It will configure it's calendar and diary with the one on your computer. When you add a new contact you can link their details straight to their facebook profile. It does loads...

I just bought a samsung galaxy s. I'm really happy with it. nice touch screen and a pull out keyboard. Pictures and video are clear. Also has video phone feature when you download and app for it. I highly recommend this phone.

You have to let it die of total power loss before recharging.

HTC TouchPro 2... yeah it's "obsolete" by today's standards but I love the keyboard!! It's only 5 months old too!!! A working class Hero is something to be ~ Lennon

I have a house phone with a long distance block and every other block imaginable on it so my bill will always be the same amount. I also have an answering machine that I use as my caller ID. It picks up every single call and if I don't want to speak to the person leaving the message, I simply don't answer.
Since I don't want a cell phone because there are times that I simply don't want to talk to someone, it's easy to avoid people by simply saying "I wasn't home" rather than having to argue with them about why you didn't answer your cell phone which goes with you everywhere you go.
It's the smartest way I know to avoid pests and never, ever have a phone bill more than $31. Andy is a four letter word.
