btw Genesia, the bugs on the Eris are specifically on that device, not on the Android OS.

My friend who lives in Chicago and had an Eris, complained to VZW just last week and they sent him a brand new Moto Droid as a replacement.

So my advice, call up and complain and see if they'll offer you something new. If you want me to find out exactly what he said to them when he called, I can ask him.

Thanks! cool

The only problem is that I don't want the Moto. The keyboard makes the phone a lot thicker - and I'll never use it.

I will keep this in mind, though. If my Eris keeps acting up, I may have to consider it.

You might be able to get them to send you a Droid Incredible or a Droid-X, which also don't have the physical keyboard. I say this because I heard that VZW are completely out of Moto Droid stock. Worth a try.

Pros: It is supremely awesome.

Cons: It is so supremely awesome that it will make everything else in your life look like the pathetic piece of fail that it is.

I''ve spent years trying to decide if I want an iPhone lol Whenever I decide that I want one,I always change my mind and get something else, lol.

I just got the HTC Hero. Should I fork over a few extra and get the EVO?

Thanks!

Yeah, if it's within your budget you should DEFINITELY get the Evo. The Hero is a mid-range phone at this point, the Evo is up there at the top of the "superphone" list!

iPhone 4 and I'm loving it. I went from a 3G to iP4 and besides the speed the thing I'm loving the most is the display.

I think so. I loooooove this phone and have zero complaints. And they just upgraded it to Android 2.2.

Question for you guys....how often do you change cellphones? I got my last smartphone in 2008 and now I'm upgrading to something else. So,for me,it's about every three years.I always get bored with the same phone after three years or so.Plus, they always come up with new and more exciting phones.

I change mine, when my contract is about to run out. That way, I am able to negoiate for a better phone at a great price. I am with T-mobile, by the way.

Right now, I have the G1, which came out righ as my contract was due to expire. I got it for half the price. Now, because the G1 was one of the first Adroid phones, it is now absolete. I am looking to get either the Vibrant or Mytouch. I love the android system and Tmobile. They never bother me, if my bill is late and my service is pretty cool.

Yes. It is. When I was younger, it was worse. I would change my phone, every time a new phone would come out. Now, I wait awhile.

Yeah been meaning to get one myself. Only problem is, they keep saying it's on back order. First it was the 10th, then the 15th, and now it's the 23rd. I wish it were readily available so I can just get one now. Tired of my current phone. It does whatever the hell it wants.

Blackberry Bold 9700 with Telus Mobility service.

I really appreciate the tactile benefit of a tiny keyboard, but games are pretty brutal, even Blackjack. The tracking thumb pad is better than the clicky scrolly ball on the older Blackberry.

Aw what the hell, how many months before I can renew my contract for an iPhone?

I betrayed my loyalty to Blackberry and upgraded to the iPhone. neutral ...but the iPhone is excellent!!! thumbs up! Still fumbling around with it though...just got it in the mail yesterday. The only thing that is worrying me is how the battery power is running out faster than when I had my Blackberry. It was shipped with 100% battery power but I still put it on the charger last night. Here I am at work 3 hours in and the battery level is at half. Maybe I need to charge it a full 24 hours or something???

[Edited 9/16/10 6:00am]

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
