So when did it become OK to say Nite and Lite? I mean who said that was alright?!?!?
When did it become official?

I assume you mean to write "nite" and "lite."
And the answer is that it never did in any official way. They can appear on marketing-driven signs and ad copy and such, but you wouldn't see them much in respectable newspapers or magazines. Then again, you wouldn't see "alright" in respectable newspapers or magazines either--they still stick with "all right."

I still write it that way. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

It never did, and only stupid people make a habit of it.

This is an illuminati scheme, similar to their successful transitioning of the word "lose" into "loose".

And yet...
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Whenever it became okay to say "Shake and Bake". I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
