I'm really NOT one to brag but I'm so freakin proud of this!!

Our Fall 2010 campaign was my first campaign as lead and now it's splattered all over the world!

I'm particularly proud of this!! I still get goosebumps when I watch it!!

I wish I could design like that! No, I oversaw the whole thing. That vid was the lovechild of me and my brilliant team, from concept, styling, the shoots, editing, the whole kit and caboodle - I was there sticking my nose in everybody's business telling them how to do their jobs and annoying everyone.

I like it a lot. The clothes look great and the visual style reminds me of what I often strive for with my own photography; lots of black with certain highlit areas, sharp and with a meditiative atmosphere. I also like the urban and classy feel of it. I think it will appeal to the right demographic.

Only complaints are the fact that it's hard to see the clothes properly sometimes (which is often the case in fashion ads so it's not any worse here, but still a pet peeve of mine) and that there seem to be stills mixed in with the moving images. I would have preferred moving images only since it provides a better "flow".

Either way, congratulations. Great job!

Most fashion ads aren't selling a specific piece. The job of the ad is to give you a sense of the collection and to convey the aesthetic of the designer.

The interplay of stills with moving images that causes the interruption of the "flow" was calculated.

As an aside - the shoes that are featured in the video - those babies are coming home with me tonight as my pat on the back!!
