British X-Files reveal secret UFO study I love when stuff like this comes out:
Letter says Churchill, Eisenhower hushed up flying-saucer sighting during World War II; probe goes nowhere
 A sketch from the National Archives' UFO files shows a "flying saucer" that was purportedly sighted over a cornfield at East Grinstead in 1995.
hundreds of previously secret "UFO files" on Thursday, including a letter saying that Winston Churchill had ordered a 50-year cover-up of a wartime encounter between an unidentified flying object and military pilot.
The files, published by the National Archives, span decades and contain scores of witness accounts, sketches and classified briefing notes documenting mysterious sightings across Britain.

I'd love it if our own government would share everything they know about flying sausers. Some claim that they don't because they fear mass hysteria or either public upheaval because people would no longer trust that the nation is secure. Who thinks the government truly is hiding something?
Also, hopefully someone can corroborate this story. I seem to remember reading that Nixon was one of, if not, the last American President to be given full disclosure about ufo's. The book even claimed that he showed Jackie Gleason a hangar with a crashed ufo and dead alien bodies that was/are in goverment possession. Now that's straight out of the X-files! | |
