Swimming in deep, dark water makes me think that a shark or some giant something is going to come up and eat me...even if it's fresh water in some small lake.

I still swim, but I'm always thinking it.

melted cheese.

If I order a hot sandwich @ the deli, I always have to tell them don't melt the cheese on the grill on top of the eggs/meat/whatever. mad it is wrong

and messy.

falloff

Actually...when it comes to Kraft slices or any of those other fake "cheese products" then I agree with you. But with cheddar, swiss or any other REAL 100% cheese I enjoy it melted all over my food.

lol I don't mind a little melted -- just enough from the heat of the food it's placed on

but put the cheese on last, after whatever the food is is out of the oven/off the grill/out of the frying pan ill

and if it's a sandwich, especially made with square bread, cut that isht on the diagonal!!!!

lol (this, too, is also less messy)

I don't mind toast -- a slice of regular bread, like with eggs or something for breakfast is ok, if it's light/medium (it, too, must be cut on the diagonal) --- but toasted bread/roll/whatever for a sandwich? No.

-- technically it's not an illogical 'issue' ... usually it's too hard and really hurts my palate, so I just never allow bread for sandwiches to be toasted to avoid pain.. lol

warm bread would be fine, but most delis have the heat too high/leave it in too long confused

And I can't eat a sandwich on regular bread. Too mushy.

I hate white bread.

When I do eat a sandwich, it is usually on a roll or crusty bread like French or Italian.

white bread is awful... various reasons lol

but a lot of the multi-grain bread out now is nice and firm

I love Pepperidge Farm and Arnold (and whatever I can find at the Farmers Market)

It absolutely drives me NUTS when someone posts the lyrics to a song in a thread just "to pay tribute"- not because someone else asked for them. Then a few more people click on "reply with quote", so you have to keep scrolling thru the lyrics over and over.

crash

Same with photo-threads - where people keep replying with quote, and when you scroll down, you see the same photograph appear 14 times with each time a new one-sentence comment below. mad

Yes!

I had originally said that, too, but it seemed like a rant.
