Oh man, I had a Big Wheel and a Red Baron (which was like the Green Machine). I loved that thing until a kid down the street stole it. When I got it back, it was all busted up and never worked again.

I had like 3 Big Wheels because while all the other kids ZOOOMED down the sidewalk in theirs, I was too fat and my seat always dragged on the pavement. neutral

Eh, no wonder I didn't get one of these in the 70s. I see on Amazon in today's cash they are

$179. That's a little insane.

And this poor kid has to wear a helmet! What have we come to!! lol

SNOOPY SNO-CONE MACHINE

Have you ever actually tried to make a sno-cone using this thing? It's exhausting, makes your arms hurt, and produces very little refreshing ice for your effort. Great for the retro appeal, and that's about it.

I had one of these!

I can't remember ever using it. hmmm

It's what you make it.

Did anyone else ride as fast as you could, then slam on the breaks so your big wheel would spin around!! Wore holes in the tires!! lol

YES! My brother and I used to do that!

He had a really gay cowboy-themed Big Wheel that had fake cowboy boots that went over the pedals. purse

It's what you make it.

Trivial Pursuit: SNL Saturday Night Live DVD Edition

We got this one for us "grown up" kids. What a major disappointment! Nothing about Bill Murray or anything you'd actually want to be quizzed about, just super miopic & difficult questions about tedious behind-the-scenes stuff. We didn't even play for 30 minutes before it got put away forever. Sucked!

Reminds me of the time we got a Simpsons board game:

It sucked because all of the questions started with something like "In the episode Treehouse of Horror VI," it's like oh a group of people were supposed to have memorized all of the episode titles before sitting down to play this? I can understand if the people who wrote the game used those episode titles for shorthand but the titles don't hint at the episode plots at all, and they don't even show the titles at the beginning of a show anyway! And we had probably seen all the episodes they were referring to by unshown title.

To make matters worse, it would be very obscure stuff like "what colour was Maggie's soother when.."; It's like, gah!

Horribly conceived.

Mouse Trap -_-

Looked SOOOOOOO fun on the commercial, got it for Christmas one year, barely worked. Took more time to set up the game than to actually play it.

Kinda strange, kinda awesome.
