What brand? Did the sale LEE's or Wrangler Brand in your place, half around the world? smile

I love LEE's for whatver reason they had a tendency to fit most Black women well. LEE's Jean sold at Walmart and a had style called carpenter jeans, I loved them, but they stop making them. sad

I like and wear Tommy Hilfiger jeans too, they stopped selling them at Macy's and Carson, Pierie Scott. For the record, I hate Macy's, hate. lol

Yes... but i need a second opinion

the young girl that served me was horrified when i tried them on.............as she said they r for young ppl and i ended up with the same size as she had on - she was not impressed, she said my mum would never wear those!!!!

Perfect. Buy them.

I suffer retail trauma every time I go in that place. disbelief

My favorite brand of jeans is Jag. They have styles that are current, but not to the point of silliness. And they are curvy. I have never found a pair that didn't fit my waist, booty and thighs without gapping.

Every time they come out with a new cut or wash, I pounce. I gotta stop. redface

Jag, I'm going to have to check them out, where are they sold ? Thanks sad

What's wrong with that store? Macy's have some of the worst looking clothes I've ever seen. The shoe department ... horrid, I miss Marshall Fields.

Marshall Field V needs to burn in hell for selling that store. :lol

Nordstrom and Zappos carry Jag.

I miss Field's, too. Thank goodness I can still get Frangos. I'd die if those ever went away. cry

nod

They don't gap in the back, and have a rise that accommodates the "ample bottom".

Just about all of mine are LEE bootcuts.

They did go thru this period, tho, where I thought I was trying on Levi's... they tried to switch up on me! pout

The so-called "curvy" jeans are still not enough for me.

They either still gap, end up being low-rise, or too tight in the thighs.

I need jeans for "round ass". lol

no really, her job is to say you look hot and to sell you the item! talk to the hand

I don't agree with that either... because when I see someone looking crazy in a dress or something that doesn't fit, I always think that there was some greedy salesperson that let her walk out of the store like that. doh!

She should have said something about the fit, if that was the issue.

She just came out and told you you're too old! mad

I used to find ways to let people down easy, and I would add that I was just trying to help because I wanted them to be comfortable and satisfied.

Now if you're petite and shopping in the "tween" section, then you deserved it! lol

Last time I bought jeans was at Old Navy in the daytime on a weekday. I just took about 11 different pairs in my size to the dressing room and bought the pair that fit and looked the best.

I can't wear Lee's; they give me major camel toe. mad Doesn't matter what size I am.

I just tried on my new skinny jeans. And, yes...it is definitely possible for one's ass to look as big as Texas.

For me it depends on body type.... I have narrow hips so I tend look horrible in bootcut jeans so I opt for a skinny jean that has a low rise. Levi's were great, Gap jeans too... except now I am a 16W so its to the plus size dept. for me.

I hate Macy's, I swear their customer service is the worst ever. I miss Filene's basement. sigh

This is a terrible topic, I HATE buying jeans. I have a wardrobe full of mistakes and the still keep the faves that are way past wearing.

I had a conversation with the wife the other day, skinny jeans are going out and little flares are coming back. Tight at the thigh, out at the bottom.

I can't keep up any more. Just don't buy those horrible fucking genes that seem to be shaped for women, I think someone has already called them MOM jeans lol hideous!!

In my closet, I have skinny jeans, not-quite-skinny jeans, boot-cut jeans, straight-leg jeans, and flares. All of them fit me perfectly and I figure, if I rotate the wearing of them, they'll last for years. lol
